The search for an apartment to rent on our travels is often a struggle so we were happy with the wonderful instance of serendipity that led us to renting this cute little casita in the beach town of San Pancho on Mexico’s Pacific Coast.
While staying with our friends Warren and Betsy at their artist’s retreat in Guanajuato we mentioned that San Pancho was likely our next destination and they told us that their friend lived there and coincidentally was coming to Guanajuato at the same time as we were leaving. They put us in touch and we were able to rent her lovely house while she was away. We love it when things come together like that and it reminds us of the importance of connections.
The casita is the perfect tranquil retreat for us right now (we’ve both been ill with the flu). It’s colourful and artistic with lots of Mexican artwork and creative details, and best of all, it’s open air with views of the flower filled garden and jungle beyond.
