The view of Machu Picchu from the top of the mountain Wayna Picchu was the highlight of our visit to the famous Inca citadel. Only 400 people a day are allowed to climb up so we had to queue at 4.30am to be on one of the first buses at 5.30am from Aguas Calientes. It was a steep climb to the top but the views were worth it: you really get a sense of the amazing setting.
