Huey Teung Tao Lake is a small man-made reservoir at the foot of Doi Suthep about 20 minutes outside of the centre of Chiang Mai. It’s a popular place for Thais who come to swim, hire paddle boats, and eat at one of the small restaurants serving northern Thai dishes. It’s a relaxing place to chill out on one of the bamboo platforms that hang over the waters edge.
