We took this photo of sunflower fields about an hour outside of Mae Sai in the far north of Thailand near the Burmese border while we were on our epic moped road trip. Sunflowers aren’t something I associate with Thailand but the weather in this mountainous region is much cooler than on the tropical islands of the south. We love the diversity of landscapes, people and experiences that are possible in Thailand.
