Our favourite thing to do in Savannah was wander the elegant streets and squares lined with huge oaks dripping in Spanish moss. It turns out this isn’t a moss at all but a flowering plant that’s common in southern USA.

Wow, that is beautiful. I’ve never seen Spanish moss in person, but I have always wanted to. It seems like it would be quite a sight to behold!
It is an amazing sight, especially in the cemeteries – very gothic!
