Last weekend we visited Flanders for the first time to attend the Cactus Festival in Bruges and the Gent Jazz Festival. Of course we also took the time to wander around the picturesque medieval city of Bruges including the hub of the city – the Markt or Market Square which is lined with beautiful buildings and packed with tourists. These horse carriages brightened up a grey day.
