Lopes Mendes beach on Ilha Grande, Brazil. This is the ‘must visit’ beach on the island but surprisingly it was still easy to find a spot all to ourselves as the wide stretch of white sand stretches on endlessly. We walked for 3 hours through the jungle to get here (via some other lovely beaches) and took a ‘pirate ship’ boat back. See more Brazil photos.
